Download Installer Wax Seal Decoration

Welcome to Pirates of the Burning Sea!

If you purchased the retail box, you should use these files to install the game, rather than the DVD included in the retail box. Patching from the version included on the retail box’s DVD will take longer than downloading and installing the latest version of the game from this page.

If you have a Station Account and you have an active Pirates of the Burning Sea account, or you are a trial customer, you can follow the instruction below to install the latest Pirates of the Burning Sea installer. If you need additional assistance, please make sure to file a support ticket by visiting www.burningsea.com/support.

  1. For each file in the list below, click on the file name and choose Save. Save the files into the same folder.
  2. From the folder where you saved all 4 files, run Setup_PotBS_US.exe.
  3. Follow the prompts. Station Launcher, the bits of PhysX required to run the game, if necessary the correct version of DirectX, and Pirates of the Burning Sea will be installed.
  4. To run Pirates of the Burning Sea, click on the shortcut on your Start menu.

Australian Mirror

Our Australian players can now download the game client from GamingSA, which is part of Adam Internet.

Once you have the game downloaded, we recommend you try the Defiant server, which has it’s port battle schedule designed around Australian timezones.

Running the Game

Once the installation process has completed, double-click the Pirates of the Burning Sea desktop shortcut to launch the game. A small patch will be downloaded and automatically installed. Once that’s done, you’ll be prompted to enter your Station username and password—then you can begin sailing the seas of 1720.
