The issue of off-peak port battles, or nightflips, is a source of great frustration for our community. While we have worked to implement mechanisms we hoped would mitigate the issue, we have also spent much time discussing alternative solutions. We’ve been proceeding cautiously because these solutions could introduce larger problems in other areas of game play, impacting an even a wider range of players.
The good news is that we have reached a consensus on a plan, and will be sharing this with the community to get your input as soon as tomorrow.
With that being said, we are temporarily suspending character transfers. If you are experiencing a complication as a result of this, you are asked to file a support ticket with the details so that we can work with you to resolve the issue.

We will be publishing a hotfix during Wednesday morning’s maintenance window of 1:30am-5:00am Pacific / 9.30am-1.00pm British Summer Time.
This fix will resolve the challenges reported by our customers related to port battles. We will share additional information throughout the hotfix process.
